Responsibilities

• Responsible for setup, service of the bar, and storage areas.
• Anticipate guests’ needs regarding wine, liquor, and cocktail menus.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area.
• Monitor shelves and coolers for proper stocking of beverages.
• Assist servers and bartenders with mixing drinks and serving guests.
• Assist with inventory process on a monthly basis.
• Restock the bar area with clean glasses and other accessories.
• Assist the manager with liquor pick-ups and orders.

The Chocolatier serves up family fare with a fun spin, and hints of chocolate for lunch and dinner. The space features past and present pieces from the Hersheypark ride collection, one‑of‑a‑kind views of neighboring attractions, and a second‑story patio and bar. This position is responsible for maintaining the bar areas and equipment and assisting in the service of food and beverage to guests in a high‑paced environment at the Chocolatier.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job)

• Responsible for setup, service of the bar, and storage areas.
• Anticipate guests’ needs by answering questions pertaining to wine, liquor, and cocktail menus.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, refrigerators, and removal of trash.
• Monitor shelves and coolers to ensure proper stocking of beer, wine, liquor, and other beverages.
• Assist servers and bartenders with duties such as mixing drinks, serving guests, detailing, and breakdown of the bar area.
• Assist with the inventory process on a monthly basis.
• Assist with filling and delivering requisitioned products and equipment.
• Maintain a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Restock the bar area with clean glasses and other accessories.
• Assist the manager with liquor pick‑ups as well as the ordering process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Post‑Employment: RAMP certification.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Abide by all state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Demands

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
