Job summary

The Chocolatier Restaurant, Bar + Patio is a year-round, full service restaurant located at Hersheypark. This Part-Time Team Member role maintains the bar areas, assists in service of food and beverages, and supports a high-paced dining environment.

Perks include free admission/parking to Hersheypark and dining discounts with Employee ID. Primary duties cover bar setup, stocking, guest queries about wine and cocktails, and collaboration with servers and bartenders.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Post-Employment: RAMP certification.
• Abide by all state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for setup, service of the bar, and storage areas.
• Anticipate guests' needs by answering questions pertaining to wine, liquor, and cocktail menus.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of the bar area including counters, floors, refrigerators, and removal of trash.
• Monitor shelves and coolers to ensure proper stocking of beer, wine, liquor, and other beverages.
• Assist servers and bartenders with duties such as mixing drinks, serving guests, detailing, and breakdown of the bar area.
• Assist with the inventory process on a monthly basis.
• Assist with filling and delivering requisitioned products and equipment.
• Maintain a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Restock the bar area with clean glasses and other accessories.
• Assist the manager with liquor pick-ups as well as the ordering process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for maintaining the bar areas and equipment and assisting in the service of food and beverage to guests in a high-paced environment at the Chocolatier.
