Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality in Illinois seeks a Bartender to mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks, greet guests, and contribute to an engaging casino atmosphere. You will need excellent English communication, knowledge of cocktails, and the ability to upsell while maintaining a clean, efficient bar.

Qualifications include a minimum 21 years of age, at least 1 year related experience (or 6 months in Wind Creek Beverage), plus ability to lift 50 pounds and complete ServeSafe/TIPS training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• 1 year related experience and/or training, or 6 months in Beverage Department at Wind Creek.
• Ability to lift and maneuver at least 50 pounds.
• English communication skills, verbal and written.
• Completion of Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, TIPS, and ServeSafe Sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from guests and Servers.
• Maintains knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, and mixes.
• Knows cocktail recipes, production methods, glassware, and garnishes.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization of bars, stations, and public spaces.
• Greets guests and uses suggestive selling and up-selling techniques.
• Follows Call Order procedures for Servers' orders.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
