Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Beverage Server to serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to guests at gaming machines or bars within our gaming facility.

The role requires a 21+ age, basic math and POS skills, and the ability to pass alcohol service training. You will ensure inventory, safety, and adherence to tribal gaming policies while delivering friendly, timely service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and complete GED within six months from start date
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• Six (6) months related experience and/or training preferred
• Willingness and ability to lift and carry 20lbs continuously throughout the day
• Must successfully pass job interview including a guest service audition
• Must possess a high level of maturity dependability and punctuality
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers in English
• Must complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service and BASET training
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Must have an Occupational License pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of all menu items liquor brands beers non-alcoholic selections daily specials and services available in the assigned venue
• Greets guests takes beverage orders and relays them to bartenders, utilizing the POS system and PLU numbers and the appropriate Order Call system
• Garnish drinks as needed
• Prepare beer wine and frozen drinks as needed
• Pass Responsible Service of Alcohol test
• Comply with Alcohol policies and procedures
• Ensure site is in compliance with WCH alcohol policies & procedures on Tribal property
• Maintain sufficient inventories to meet beverage operation needs
• Complete applicable reports in a timely manner
• Maintain physical condition of premises in a safe healthy manner
• Adhere to operating policies and procedures at all times including internal controls and fiscal policies
• Anticipate guests' needs respond promptly even when busy
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Job Overview:

The Beverage Server shall serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to customers seated at Gaming Machines or bar areas throughout the gaming facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, daily special products and services available in the assigned venue

• Ensures sufficient inventories are maintained to meet the needs of the beverage operation
• Ensures that all applicable reports are completed in a timely manner
• Ensures the physical condition of the premises are maintained in a safe, healthy manner
• Ensures that all applicable operating policies and procedures are adhered to at all times without deviation and be extremely knowledgeable of the Minimum Internal Control Standards, Alcohol Policies & Procedures, and Fiscal Policies and Procedures
• Anticipates guests' needs, responding promptly and acknowledging guests even when busy
• Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

Base Pay:

• Compensation:$9.00-$14.00 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
