Wind Creek Hospitality in Illinois seeks a Captain to deliver friendly, efficient service of food and beverages in a fine dining setting. You will coordinate orders, ensure hot foods stay hot and drinks are presented correctly, and greet guests while executing room sets as needed.

The role requires knowledge of French and Continental cuisines, wine pairings, English communication, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fine dining cuisines including French and Continental.
• Knowledge of wine and wine pairings.
• Must be twenty-one (21) years or older; able to perform basic math; read/write English.

Responsabilités

• Possess knowledge of fine dining cuisines including French and Continental as well as table-side service.
• Possess knowledge of wine and wine pairings.
• Reports to work station as scheduled in proper uniform and ready to work.
• Completes all side-work as directed by supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and free of safety hazards.
• Coordinates all orders in advance to avoid partial deliveries.
• Consolidates deliveries to maintain proper serving temperatures.
• Serves drinks efficiently in proper glassware with garnish.
• Greets Guests appropriately and executes room sets as needed.
• Verifies orders with guests and checks back to ensure satisfaction.
• Presents check and thanks guests for their order.
• Reads and retains daily promotions and information from pre-shift notes.
• Assumes special projects as directed by supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned
