Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dulles is seeking a Banquet Server to lead service during events and ensure an exceptional guest experience. You will check BEOs, coordinate with staff, and perform setup, serving, and breakdown tasks across banquet functions.

The role requires hotel experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position at the Dulles area property with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills to provide information and services to guests and management.
• Knowledge of hotel operations including security, safety, and planning.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Banquet team in serving guests during banquet functions to ensure a positive experience.
• Check Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and room setup for accuracy and directions.
• Coordinate with banquet staff for setups, changes, and schedules.
• Serve as banquet server: setup, greet, and service guests; break down functions.
• Inspect banquet areas after events to ensure cleanliness and equipment are returned.
• Recap banquet checks and report to Night Audit.
