Job summary

Westin Washington Dulles Airport is seeking an experienced Banquet Manager to lead our Food & Beverage team. This role directs banquet functions in line with AURO Hotels and Brand Standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event execution across all banquet operations.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree and 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a branded hotel, with strong English communication skills and a focus on professional hospitality service.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; 2-3 years' supervisory experience in a comparable sized brand hotel.
• Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest service standards are met with a guest-friendly environment.
• Oversee banquets operations ensuring proper setup, execution and breakdown of functions.
• Manage budgets within department guidelines and control costs.
• Provide leadership, training and development for banquet staff and supervisors.
• Coordinate with catering and kitchen teams to ensure events run smoothly.
• Maintain records of banquet checks, gratuity distribution, and event details.
• Communicate effectively with guests, planners and hotel departments regarding events.
