The Alfond Inn at Rollins in Winter Park, FL is seeking an attentive Banquet Set-up team member to efficiently arrange banquet spaces per customer specs and provide top-notch service. The role emphasizes detailed setup, coordination with A/V teams, and readiness well before events.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and teamwork are essential for smooth event setup.

Responsibilities

• Know hotel layout and storage areas for the Food & Beverage Department.
• Be familiar with A/V equipment – both in house and outside vendor’s.
• Maintain all banquet rooms and closets to ensure they are organized and clean.
• Read and comprehend BEO information.
• Complete room set up according to BEO, ensure meeting room is ready for client at least 1 hour prior to arrival; sign off on BEO.
• Breakdown and flip banquet room and store equipment after events.
• Turn off lights, adjust AC/heat, and lock doors at end of shift.
• Inspect banquet room equipment daily and report issues.
