Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support events in our banquet department. The role involves setting up and breaking down function spaces, coordinating with managers and supervisors, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout events.

Responsibilities include arranging meeting rooms, transporting equipment, and adapting quickly to last-minute changes while maintaining safety and quality standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Setting up all meeting rooms and functions space.
• Breaking down and putting all necessary items away properly.
• Transporting tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment to the banquet rooms.
• Replenishing meeting rooms as needed.
• Handling any last-minute changes or requests by the client.
• The Banquet Set-up position will do the setup of chairs, tables and equipment
• Must be able to place linen on tables, position chairs, move podiums, etc .
• The ability to work with equipment and ensure the equipment is always in good working conditions.
• Must be able to maintain all F&B storage areas, including the banquet corridors, within the center.
• The ability to review and ensure compliance of all room set-ups in accordance with company standards.
