Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to set up and break down function spaces for meetings and conferences. You will move chairs, tables and equipment, arrange linens, and ensure the room meets the Banquet Event Order while coordinating with managers and supervisors for smooth operations.

This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work well in teams or independently, with flexible hours supporting a fast-paced hotel environment and the opportunity

Qualifications

• A keen eye for detail and strong time management.
• Excellent customer service and a friendly demeanor.
• Able to work as part of a team or independently.
• Flexible with hours and able to handle last-minute changes.
• Physically able to move tables, chairs and equipment and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Set up all meeting rooms and function spaces according to BEO.
• Break down and store equipment after events.
• Transport banquet furniture and equipment as needed.
• Replenish rooms between events and maintain clean spaces.
• Address last-minute client requests while ensuring service quality.
• Ensure linens and setup meet company standards.
