Job summary

Epicurean Hotel in Tampa, operated by Mainsail Lodging & Development, seeks a Banquet Setup Attendant to join our events team. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet spaces, coordinating with our team to meet EO specifications, and delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as event schedules require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in banquet or event setup within a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Professional interaction with guests and colleagues maintained at all times.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as events require.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet spaces per event specs and BEOs.
• Assist with banquet functions: tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Ensure proper placement of audio-visual gear and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain inventory of banquet supplies and report needs to management.
• Perform minor repairs to banquet furniture and equipment as needed.
• Provide warm, professional guest interaction and handle special requests.
