Job summary

Epicurean Hotel in Tampa is seeking a Banquet Setup Attendant to ensure accurate setup, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet spaces. You will follow Banquet Event Orders (EOs) and provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as events require, with previous banquet or event setup experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Previous banquet or event setup experience in hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Professional attitude and ability to interact with guests and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Event Setup & Breakdown: set up and break down banquet spaces per event specifications and EO s; assist with banquet functions; ensure proper placement of audio-visual equipment; maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Event Room & Equipment Maintenance: report outages or equipment issues; maintain inventory of banquet supplies; perform minor repairs; report hazards to management.
• Guest Services & Professionalism: greet guests, handle special requests, communicate professionally using hotel devices, follow instructions, and support the banquet team.
