Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a banquet setup associate to complete final breakdowns, set up rooms, stock areas, and keep venues clean and organized. You will transport linens, monitor sanitation, and assist other departments to ensure superb guest service.

The role requires high school education or GED, 1–2 years in food service preferred, and strong English communication. The position operates seven days a week, with on-site responsibilities in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Requires clear communication with guests, management and co-workers.
• Good command of English for written and verbal interactions.
• Previous hospitality or banquet experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be in proper uniform with nametag and wear non-slip shoes.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve guest concerns.
• Know hotel features, hours, promotions and group activities.
• Understand service requirements for assigned functions and adhere to timelines.
• Set up rooms with tables, chairs, staging, dance floor and other equipment.
• Break down function areas and store reusable goods after events.
• Inspect furniture for damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist during emergencies to protect guests and property.
