Omni Hotels & Resorts Fort Lauderdale seeks a Banquet Setup Assistant to ensure proper setup, cleanliness and readiness of banquet and meeting spaces. You will place tables, chairs, linens and equipment, refresh rooms during breaks, and assist with breakdown after events, while maintaining Omni standards.

Qualifications include prior banquet or event setup experience and strong English communication. This on-site role requires flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays, with a focus

Qualifications

• Previous banquet and event set up experience preferred.
• Hospitality/customer service experience preferred.
• Clear English communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to work with a team in fast-paced environment.
• Flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Cleans banquet and meeting facilities prior to set-up.
• Sets up equipment (tables, chairs, linens, glassware) per Daily Work Sheet.
• Provides required amenities per Banquet Department Standards.
• Refreshes meeting rooms during breaks and handles trash and supplies.
• Breaks down meeting rooms promptly after events.
• Moves materials between docks, registration areas and rooms.
• Inspects rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness throughout functions.
• Completes special projects as directed.
