Job summary

Omni Houston Hotel is seeking a Banquet Setup Associate to ensure function rooms are prepared to Omni standards and guest expectations. You will set up, refresh, and break down spaces for banquets and conventions, coordinating with events and other departments.

The role requires reliable, guest-focused individuals who can stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required; hotel/banquet experience preferred.
• Stand/walk extended periods; lift 50 lbs; push/pull 100 lbs.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work cohesively with coworkers across departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up, stock, and maintain meeting rooms.
• Refresh meeting rooms during meals and coffee breaks.
• Complete final breakdown of meeting room.
• Clean and return equipment to proper location.
• Follow Banquet Event Order instructions.
• Assist other departments to ensure optimum guest service.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
