Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation in Cambridge is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support event setup and breakdown, ensuring rooms and function areas meet standards and client expectations.

You will read BEOs, arrange tables, linens, and equipment, coordinate with Catering, maintain cleanliness, stock supplies, and help deliver a seamless guest experience across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms and function areas with tables, chairs, staging, and equipment per BEO and standards.
• Review assignment sheets and update completed tasks.
• Coordinate with Catering for changes in events and adjustments.
• Stock and transport linens, skirting, and supplies to function areas.
• Inspect rooms and equipment for cleanliness and readiness; address deficiencies.
• Handle cleaning of glassware and floor surfaces per guidelines.
• Deliver and transport Food & Beverage trays to service areas.
• May work nights, weekends and holidays; perform other duties as required.
