Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to support the setup, breakdown, cleanliness, and readiness of banquet spaces.

You will work closely with Banquet Leadership and the Events teams to ensure rooms are prepared according to event specifications and guest expectations, with flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays.

This role requires physical stamina and a strong commitment to guest service and safety, delivering a seamless event experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in banquet or event setup preferred.
• Ability to read event orders and room diagrams.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Set banquet and meeting rooms per BEO/specifications.
• Break down rooms after events and reset for next function.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces.
• Assist with room transitions and guest requests with urgency.
• Ensure safety and proper equipment handling during events.
