Job summary

Salamander Collection in Aspen, CO is seeking an On-call Banquet Houseperson to support event setup and teardown for meetings, conferences, weddings, and social gatherings. You will ensure banquet spaces are clean, organized, and ready for guests, working closely with Banquets, Catering, Housekeeping, and Engineering.

The role requires the ability to read BEOs, strong teamwork, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow banquet event orders.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet rooms per event orders including tables, chairs, linens, staging, and equipment.
• Break down and reset spaces after events to next-configuration.
• Move and store banquet equipment safely throughout the property.
• Maintain clean, presentable event spaces at all times.
• Assist banquet servers and managers during events.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to management.
• Support last-minute room setup changes with a positive attitude.
