Job summary

Kessler Hotels is seeking a Banquet Houseperson to set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet spaces and equipment at our Asheville property. You will ensure timely, accurate setup of events and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the space.

Responsibilities include transporting tables and chairs, refreshing meeting rooms, and coordinating with management to address hazards while delivering warm, friendly guest service. Flexibility for long hours is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or related hotel experience.
• Strong stamina to stand and move during long shifts.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize housekeeping and event setup tasks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, refresh, tear down and maintain all banquet spaces and equipment.
• Ensure timely and accurate setup of Banquet Event Order functions.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in banquet areas and storage.
• Transport and store tables, chairs and other equipment after events.
• Provide excellent guest service and address hazards or issues promptly.
