Windsor Hospitality is hiring for a Banquet Waitstaff role at the Renaissance Asheville, a 278-room hotel in downtown Asheville. The position involves supporting weddings, conferences, and galas with flawless service from setup to teardown, in a fast-paced environment.

You will set up banquet spaces, serve guests, and maintain a polished appearance while working within a strong team. This on-call schedule requires flexibility, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with steady disposition for busy event shifts.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required at all times.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to assist coworkers as needed.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during events.
• Capacity to lift up to 30 lbs and move items as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre-event roll calls to learn function details and guest expectations.
• Set up banquet functions including linens, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces.
• Prepare waiting and beverage stations prior to each event.
• Arrange perishable items for banquet service and ensure freshness.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, replenishing drinks as needed.
• Clear dishes, glassware, and linens at course end and event end.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas throughout each shift.
