Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Part Time Banquet Setup Attendant to professionally set up and service all meeting rooms in line with the hotel's high standards. You will maintain storage rooms, assist with linen, tables, chairs, and be prepared for post-event breakdown while following safety procedures and the hotel’s guest service etiquette.

Physical requirements include lifting up to 80 lbs, standing for long periods, and thorough cleaning with standard hotel

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service and etiquette.
• Familiarity with table settings and service ware.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give simple instructions.
• Ability to follow labeling instructions on products.
• Knowledge of menu items and up-selling basics.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers.

Responsibilities

• Set up meeting rooms to guest specifications.
• Break down meeting rooms after events.
• Maintain storage rooms and organize supplies.
• Transport and arrange tables, chairs, and related equipment.
• Replenish meeting rooms with glasses and water.
• Follow safety and security procedures at all times.
• Assist other banquet staff as needed.
