Job summary

Hireology is seeking team-oriented staff to join our banquet services in Key Largo, FL. You will be responsible for setting up and breaking down event spaces, arranging furniture, and coordinating with servers to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to follow detailed floor plans; hours include nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive benefits accompany this position at a resort environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies.
• Perform final cleaning of rooms to ensure space is guest-ready.
• Assist with breakdown of events and storage of equipment.
• Keep banquet areas and storage spaces clean and organized.
• Work with event staff to ensure setups are complete and ready for service.

Job description

Greet guests, set up and teardown banquet rooms utilizing chairs, tables and equipment for guest functions. Help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable and professional banquet facility by providing quality service, hospitality and function room standards.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture
• Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies
• Perform final cleaning of rooms, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces like windows and walls to ensure the space is ready for guests
• Assist with the breakdown of events, including moving and storing all equipment and furniture in its designated plac.
• Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized
• Work with event staff and servers to ensure the setup is complete and ready for service

Requirements:

• Physical stamina to handle moving heavy equipment and furniture
• Ability to read and follow event instructions and floor plans accurately
• Attention to detail to ensure the event space is set up correctly and meets specifications
