Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Banquet Captain to supervise banquet floor staff and coordinate event execution, ensuring exemplary guest experiences. You will lead banquet servers and bartenders, ensuring timely service and neat presentation of food across functions.

The role requires strong leadership, multitasking, and superb communication, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to all policies and liquor laws in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Banquet leadership experience required, 5+ years in a four-star hotel or resort preferred.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC or obtain upon hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of banquet functions and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise banquet staff during all food and beverage service.
• Ensure banquet setups follow BEO specifications and standards.
• Assist Banquet Manager with operations of the Banquet Department.
• Adhere to hotel policies, procedures and liquor liability laws.
• Lead staff meetings and participate in required trainings.
• Complete duties as assigned by management.
• Keep accurate banquet consumption sheets and attend department meetings.
