Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Director of Banquets to lead a high-volume luxury hotel banquet operation with strong budgeting, staffing, and guest-service focus. The role requires training teams, forecasting revenues, and coordinating with culinary and service staff to maintain the highest standards.

The position demands excellence in leadership, planning, and execution of complex events, ensuring consistency with Omni food and beverage standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in a hotel banquet senior management position, such as Director/Assistant Director, in a high-volume luxury hotel.
• Experience with 40,000+ sq ft of meeting space and managing a budget of 25 million+ yearly.
• Proven leadership, delegation, training, and motivation of staff.
• Strong English communication and ability to interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, organize, and direct banquet department activities.
• Train, motivate, and provide leadership for all department personnel.
• Forecast revenues and manage department budgets and costs.
• Coordinate with service staff, culinary, and stewarding teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure high service standards and accurate function space setups and cleanings.
• Maintain equipment, records, reports, and payroll costs; monitor guest feedback.
