BlueStar Resort & Golf in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Banquet Captain to organize and direct the daily activities of the banquet staff for events and gatherings.

You will coordinate with the Catering & Sales Manager and the Assistant F&B Manager, supervise staff, ensure high service standards, and support hiring processes while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred.
• Must meet state/federal minimum age for serving alcohol.
• Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to maintain high work standards with attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends; may travel.

Responsabilités

• Organize and direct daily activities of banquet staff.
• Collaborate with Catering & Sales Manager and Assistant F&B Manager.
• Supervise banquet staff and coach team members.
• Assist in hiring processes as requested.
• Maintain effective communication regarding operations, safety and concerns.
• Lead by example and motivate team members.
• Attend events and assist F&B managers as needed.
• Assist in monthly inventories and other duties as assigned.
