Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a Banquet Captain to organize and direct daily banquet staff activities in our Arizona venues. You will partner with the Catering & Sales Manager and the Assistant F&B Manager to ensure top-tier service and smooth event execution.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of related experience, and certification like TIPS. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and a valid driver’s license are preferred, with a flexible schedule including

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must meet state and federal age requirement for serving alcohol.
• Computer literate with MS Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Organize and direct the daily activities of the banquet staff.
• Work with Catering & Sales Manager and Assistant F&B Manager.
• Report to Banquet Manager or Assistant F&B Manager or F&B Director.
• Assist in hiring and staff development.
• Maintain effective communication and lead by example.
• Attend events and manage banquet staff; assist managers.
• Support monthly inventories and other duties as assigned.
