Job summary

InterContinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco seeks a Banquet Busser to support exceptional dining experiences by keeping banquet tables and service areas clean and beautifully presented. You will assist with table preparation, replenishment, and event breakdown, working closely with servers, culinary colleagues, and stewarding.

Flexibility is required for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as events dictate.

Qualifications

• Previous bussing, food service, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Commitment to attentive guest service and teamwork.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, presentation, and detail.
• Ability to follow instructions and established service standards.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a steady pace during busy events.
• Communication skills sufficient to understand assignments, respond to guests, and coordinate with colleagues.
• Willingness to complete required food safety and position-specific training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with table preparation, clearing, replenishment, and event breakdown.
• Set banquet tables according to orders and hotel standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly tables throughout events.
• Support banquet servers and coordinate with culinary and stewarding teams.
• Respond to guest requests and escalate allergen questions as needed.
• Return clean supplies to storage areas.
