Job summary

Kennebukport Resort Collection is seeking skilled banquet staff to provide exceptional food and beverage service for in-house guests and diners. You will set up function areas, stock and prepare service stations, and greet guests with attentiveness and a guest-first mindset.

You will take beverage orders, assist with food service according to banquet event orders, and work to elevate the guest experience while maintaining high safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of beverage service and guest interaction
• Ability to follow banquet event orders and floor plans
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation practices

Responsibilities

• Set up function areas according to banquet event orders and floor plans.
• Perform pre-service tasks: ice, garnishes, stock and wipe stations, linens, trash, and cleaning duties.
• Greet guests, take beverage orders, serve food per BEO, and assist with wine service as needed.
• Deliver food and beverages, check guest satisfaction, and assist with payments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces during events and post-event tasks.
• Be aware of food allergies and safety, communicate concerns to guests.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Collaborate with team and follow all safety procedures and policies.
