Job summary

Avion Hospitality is seeking a Banquet Server to support the set up and service of assigned banquet functions at our Memphis area hotels. You will work in a fast-paced environment, delivering friendly, attentive service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

You will read Banquet Event Orders, coordinate with team members, maintain brand standards, and keep work areas stocked and organized during events. Regular attendance and compliance with safety policies are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or related hotel experience.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with state regulations).
• Ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to evaluate decision options quickly and accurately.
• Works well in stressful, high pressure situations.
• Effective listening to coworkers and guests.
• Able to work with financial information and arithmetic.
• Maintain composure and objectivity.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Attend to banquet events with regular attendance per hotel standards.
• Read menus and function details; serve guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain banquet store room in a neat, stocked condition.
