Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group is seeking a banquet server to set up banquet spaces and provide food and beverage service to guests with courtesy and professionalism. You will follow Supervisor guidelines for room setup, guest interactions, and timely service to ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include attending pre-event roll calls, maintaining service standards, and assisting coworkers as needed to ensure smooth operations during functions at Crescent venues.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English and be a team player.
• Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and operate basic beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, service ware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll call to learn event details and guest expectations.
• Greet guests and respond to requests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Serve food/beverages in the correct order and standard, clearing dishes promptly.
