Job summary

Kimpton Brice Hotel in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Banquet Server to assist the Banquet Manager during events on-site. You will help set up, serve courses, and ensure guest satisfaction through attentive, courteous service in a fast-paced banquet environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, knowledge of service standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be willing to pitch-in and help coworkers as a team player.
• Basic knowledge of food/beverage service, guest relations and etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and serviceware.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet room with linen, serviceware and glassware as instructed.
• Attend roll calls, greet guests and respond to requests politely.
• Serve food and beverages consistently and clear dishes after courses.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction throughout the event.
• Reset the room for the next function after banquet ends.
• Adhere to state, federal and corporate alcohol service requirements.
