Thompson Dallas is a luxury hotel located within The National, Dallas’ newest urban luxury mixed-use project. The 51-story tower has been curated by a team of award-winning designers and will showcase Thompson’s unrivaled level of personalized hospitality with an edge.
Essentials include 219 rooms with 52 suites; three full-service offerings for dining and drink; a boutique spa and fitness experience focused on wellness, a variety of spaces for events, including the 14,000 square foot National Ballroom; plus stunning skyline views from the 2 acre 9th floor pool deck, which houses a long list of unparalleled amenities.
As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exemplary service to our guests in meeting spaces and ballrooms. You will set up breakfast, breaks, dinners, and other banquet services while delivering five-star service and anticipating the guests' needs. In this role, you may also be required to help with banquets set-up and demonstrate understanding of Banquet Event Orders floor plans. The pre-function prep work will include but not be limited to silverware polishing, glassware cleaning, and linen folding. You must be able to work individually and in a team environment.
Previous experience working as a Banquet Server in an upscale, luxury, and/or boutique hotel is highly preferred.
TABC and Food Handlers Certifications required.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Must have schedule flexibility to work days, early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
