Position Overview

The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up and serving food and beverages at banquet functions according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities

1. Perform preparatory tasks and side work to ensure prompt and efficient service.
2. Read the Banquet Event Order (BEO) and familiarize with the menu.
3. Serve guests courteously and professionally.
4. Respond to guest issues and communicate with management as needed.
5. Set tables following hotel standards.
6. Maintain a neat banquet storeroom, stocked with necessary supplies.
7. Clean and restore banquet space after events.
8. Prepare rooms according to BEO and meal functions.
9. Follow money handling procedures.
10. Know menu items and provide accurate descriptions.
11. Ensure guest satisfaction.
12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
