Job summary

Bentley Legacy in Dallas is seeking a Banquet Server to set up and serve at assigned functions, greet guests, and ensure smooth service. You will read event orders, coordinate with staff, and maintain sanitation across service areas.

The role requires evening/weekend availability, a high school diploma (or equivalent), and the ability to stand for long periods. Certification in liquor service is a plus for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Certification of liquor, wine and food service training is a plus.
• Must be willing and able to work evenings, including weekends and holidays.
• Full- and part-time positions available.
• Must be able to stand/walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to bend, lift, carry and move 25–30 pounds.

• Check IDs and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Read and understand the Banquet Event Order; be familiar with the menu.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of service areas and bars.
• Accommodate special guest requests and offer alternatives when needed.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and address any issues promptly.
• Clear, clean and reset tables as necessary.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees with a smile.
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
• Know how to read the Banquet Event Order and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
• Monitor cleanliness and proper sanitation of service bar, stations and service areas.
• Accommodate any special requests made by a guest or offer appropriate alternatives.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Clear, clean and reset tables as needed.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS.
• Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service a PLUS
• Must be willing and have the ability to work evenings that may include weekends and holidays
