Job summary

Avion Hospitality in Cranberry Township is seeking a Banquet Server responsible for the set up and service of all assigned banquet functions. Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.

You will read BEOs, coordinate with kitchen and service staff, and maintain a clean, organized banquet area, delivering friendly, professional service.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and certification such as Alcohol Awareness; lifting up to 25 lbs and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations)
• Clear communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Lift at least 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests according to hotel standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Read Banquet Event Orders and be familiar with the menu of the assigned function.
• Comply with certification requirements as applicable for position to include Alcohol Awareness, Food handlers, Safety, etc.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor at all times.
• Perform preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Clear banquet space after the completion of functions and ensure that all equipment and supplies are stored and restocked properly.
• Respond to guest problems, complaints and accidents; Refer to management, if necessary.
• Maintain the banquet store room in a neat and organized manner, stocked with any and all appropriate supplies necessary for food service functions.
