Job summary

Institute for Advanced Learning & Research is seeking a Banquet Server for Taylor Hospitality to provide food and beverage service at events. Compensation starts at $15.00 per hour, with attention to guest experience and professional conduct.

The role focuses on serving guests, event setup and teardown, teamwork, and maintaining high standards of service in a dynamic environment. Prior banquet server experience is preferred and safety rules must be followed.

Banquet Server - Taylor Hospitality at the Institute of Advanced Learning and Research

Compensation: $15.00 per Hour

Provides food and beverage services to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner; always ensures a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on serving food and beverages to guests,
• Helps prepare for and clean up after events.
• Provides prompt and courteous service to all guests.
• Assists with event preparation, room set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and place settings.
• Assists with catering staff members as needed, to ensure optimum service for all guests.
• May direct guests throughout the event.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Support other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Must adhere to safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain composure in a demanding environment.

The Banquet Server will collaborate with a team of other servers and catering staff throughout each event and are supervised by a General Manager who sets schedules and oversees the events.
