Job summary

The Institute of Advanced Learning and Research, together with Taylor Hospitality, is seeking a reliable Banquet Server to deliver friendly, efficient service during events and ensure a positive guest experience.

You will assist with setup and teardown, coordinate with catering staff, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards while staying composed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Banquet Server or similar role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing, stairs, lifting).
• Professional and courteous to staff and guests.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Banquet Server - Taylor Hospitality at the Institute of Advanced Learning and Research

Compensation: $15.00 per Hour

Provides food and beverage services to guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner; always ensures a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on serving food and beverages to guests,
• Helps prepare for and clean up after events.
• Provides prompt and courteous service to all guests.
• Assists with event preparation, room set up and tear down of tables, chairs, and place settings.
• Assists with catering staff members as needed, to ensure optimum service for all guests.
• May direct guests throughout the event.
• Must maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Support other staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Must adhere to safety and quality regulations.
• Maintain composure in a demanding environment.

The Banquet Server will collaborate with a team of other servers and catering staff throughout each event and are supervised by a General Manager who sets schedules and oversees the events.
