Job summary

Heartfelt Hospitality Group seeks a Banquet Server to perform serving duties at dinners and special events, ensuring a positive, friendly guest experience. You will set up venues, carry and serve plates, refill beverages, and maintain safety and cleanliness throughout shifts.

The candidate should have prior banquet or food service experience, strong communication, and a professional appearance, including providing a personal uniform as required by the Dining Room Manager.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous waitress, waiter or banquet server experience required.
• Excellent oral communication and listening skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Banquet server must provide own uniform (white tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes) unless instructed otherwise.

Responsibilities

• Set up for events by arranging tablecloths and place settings, positioning table placement and setting up a buffet.
• Carrying plates of food on trays and serving guests.
• Keep glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils.
• Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
