Job summary

Sodexo at Savannah International Trade & Convention Center is seeking a Banquet Server to support catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, and dinners. You will provide food and beverage services across service styles from casual buffets to plated meals, ensuring a positive guest experience.

The role is part-time with varying shifts; a high school diploma and hospitality experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol per local/state regulations.
• Food handler certification may be required depending on state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and assist with presentation standards.
• Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on account needs.
