Job summary

Sodexo, a global leader in food service and facilities management, is seeking a Banquet Server for events at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. You will deliver food and beverage service for meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners and special functions, supporting a range of service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals with professional guest care.

Working under the Banquet Captain and Supervisor, you’ll participate in setup, service execution and breakdown while maintaining clean,

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local and state regulations.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS certification or equivalent alcohol-service training.
• A food handler certification may also be required based on state or local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services to guests at catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions.
• Assist with event setup, service execution, and breakdown under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
• Clear tables, reset place settings, and maintain presentation standards.
• Ensure timely, attentive guest service and adherence to safety protocols.
