Job summary

Oak View Group's McCaw Hall in Seattle seeks a Banquet Server to deliver fine‑level food and beverage service during events. You will support setup, service, and post‑event cleanup, ensuring guests are welcomed and attended to in line with event specifications and standards.

This part‑time role requires stamina, punctuality, ability to lift and move heavy objects, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience accepted in lieu of formal education.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to handle transactions and counts.

Responsibilities

• Reads and understands banquet event orders.
• Provides fine-dining level service to guests at events.
• Initiates professional contact with guests and anticipates needs.
• Sets up and maintains food and beverage stations throughout the building.
• Maintains inventory for food and beverage stations.
• Keeps event areas tidy; participates in setup and cleanup.
• Works independently during slower periods; maintains a friendly attitude.
• Ensures safety and cleanliness; handles guest complaints professionally.
