Job summary

Omni Corpus Christi Hotel seeks a banquet server to deliver exceptional guest service during events and maintain high standards of professionalism in a fast-paced setting. You will support culinary and operations teams, ensuring smooth execution from setup through breakdown.

Responsibilities include refining service standards, preparing for inspections, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across banquet spaces.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of hospitality industry and guest service standards.
• Ability to provide warm, personalized service and solve guest needs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Excellent English communication with guests, management and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and refine service standards; comply with hotel standards and local laws.
• Prepare for health department and Ecosure inspections; uphold sanitation standards.
• Polish china, glass, and silver; serve food and beverage; assist with setup/breakdown of buffets and stations.
• Complete setup and breakdown of assigned banquet events.
• Perform banquet sidework and ensure quality of service and timing from kitchen to banquet areas.
• Maintain knowledge of all menu items and assist in food and beverage assembly as needed.
• Adhere to proper trash procedures and promote safety in the banquet space.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings to gather event information; communicate with team.
• Respond to guest requests promptly to create a memorable experience.
• Report maintenance or housekeeping needs; keep equipment and spaces in good condition.
