Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years banquet server experience in a 4 or 5 star resort environment (AAA, Mobil, Relais & Chateaux or similar).
• Basic knowledge of beverage and wine service.
• Valid San Diego County Food Handlers Card.
• Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Set, serve, maintain and breakdown banquet functions, plated and buffet.
• Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly.
• Describe menu items and take food and beverage orders.
• Assist banquet captain with running banquet events.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
• Follow safety procedures and work cohesively with team.
