Job summary

Castaway in California is seeking an experienced Banquet Server to join our Special Events team. You will deliver outstanding dining experiences for guests at weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction and supporting smooth banquet operations.

Responsibilities include setting up banquet rooms, serving meals and beverages, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as banquet server or similar role preferred.
• Must be available Friday/Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday morning/afternoon.
• Strong customer service skills with focus on guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and arrangement of banquet rooms per event specs.
• Ensure tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are neat and presentable.
• Verify event details including seating and special requests.
• Deliver meals and beverages to guests per service standards.
• Coordinate timely food delivery between kitchen and banquet floor.
• Address guest inquiries and requests professionally.
