Castaway in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Banquet Captain to lead the events team and deliver five-star guest experiences. You will supervise staff, coordinate with culinary and service teams, and ensure flawless execution of each event.

The role requires a professional demeanor, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced setting; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a banquet captain or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally.
• Manage staff and vendors and maintain effective communication with guests and kitchen staff.
• Provide guests with detailed menu information and assist with special requests or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with the Banquet Manager, servers, chefs, and other staff to ensure smooth service.
• Oversee and coordinate all aspects of banquet and private event operations.
• Lead and supervise banquet staff, ensuring they deliver exceptional service.
