Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Banquets Server for Margaritaville Lake Resort in Osage Beach, MO. You will prepare function rooms, serve at banquet functions, and ensure guest comfort during events.

This Full Time role requires strong English communication, professional appearance, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team focused on outstanding service. Reports to the Director of Catering Operations, Banquets Department.

Qualifications

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Conducts him/her, acts and dresses professionally at all times.
• Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.

Responsibilities

• Prepare function rooms for banquet service: tablecloths, table decorations, silverware and condiments etc.
• Serve at various banquet functions, indoors and outdoors; serve non-alcoholic drinks, bring food to guests at table or serve on a buffet line.
• Clean and clear function rooms after event.
• Complete all side work responsibilities as directed by management.
• Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.
• Have knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.
• Serve all items using appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.
• Assist other servers when needed.
• Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management.
• Maintain health and sanitation standards.
• Other duties may be assigned.
