Responsibilities

• Prepares function sites and ensures meeting rooms are set according to specifications.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests following guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and service areas per Banquet Event Order.
• Attends pre-shift meetings and communicates with the department manager.
• Maintains clean banquet and kitchen areas and oversees equipment with care.
• Assists in inventory control and monitors waste in banquet/catering area.
• Provides excellent customer service by anticipating guests' needs.
• Follows safe and sanitary work practices.
• Maintains regular attendance and personal hygiene.
• Performs other duties as required.

Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour (Service Charges and Employee Meals included)

General Purpose

Serves banquet functionguests food and beverage items in a prompt,professionaland courteous manner while creating memorable experiences .

• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Attends and activelyparticipatesin pre-shift meetings .
• Communicates special requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Helps tomaintainclean banquet and kitchen areas .
• Overseesallequipment with care.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Incorporates safe and sanitary workpractices throughout job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors.
• Performs other duties asrequired.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and training .

Certificates/Licenses
