Job summary

Troon North Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time Banquet Server to join our events team. You will prepare function sites, set up dining spaces, and serve food and beverages to guests according to event orders.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of F&B experience, knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws, and excellent interpersonal and service skills. Reliable attendance and a professional, friendly demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related F&B experience.
• Knowledge of health regulations and liquor laws.
• Experience in food/beverage, a la carte and banquet settings.
• Highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares function site; assures meeting room is set according to specification.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.
• Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to the Banquet Event Order or as directed.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager.
• Helps to maintain clean banquet service areas and catering kitchen, coolers, and equipment.
• Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.
• Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required. Regular and reliable attendance.
