Job summary

Four Seasons Jackson Hole is seeking a Banquet Server to provide exceptional guest service at events, with deep knowledge of menu items and preparation methods. You will greet guests, assist with setup and breakdown, coordinate orders with the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining luxury standards.

The role requires flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, some travel may be involved, and experience in a luxury hotel food and beverage environment is

Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Some travel may be required.
• Experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage service preferred.
• Strong oral presentation skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding events.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and demanding environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills; handle difficult situations.
• Legal work authorization in the United States required.

Responsibilities

• Serve guest needs with knowledge of food and beverage menu items, origins, taste and preparation.
• Greet guests professionally and respond to concerns promptly.
• Assist in set-up and breakdown of banquet events.
• Transport items to tables promptly to ensure food quality.
• Communicate orders including special needs to Banquet Manager or kitchen.
• Support setup of linen, china, glass, silver, and other items for events.

Responsibilities

• The Banquet Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This includes each selection’s, origin, taste, and preparation method.
• have a passion for food and wine and exceptional service.
• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Banquet Manager or kitchen;
• Transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Greet guests in a professional manner and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces for each function according to the banquet event order.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities. This will include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Some travel may be required.
• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in food and beverage service
• Strong oral presentation skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding events
