What We're Looking For
  • Friendly and welcoming — you enjoy making guests feel comfortable.
  • Energetic and dependable — you understand that successful events require people who show up ready to work.
  • Professional — you take pride in how you present yourself and represent the hotel.
  • A team player — you're willing to jump in and help coworkers wherever needed.
  • Detail-oriented — you notice when a table, place setting, or guest need requires attention.
  • Guest-focused — you genuinely care about creating a positive experience.
  • Adaptable — every event is different, and you're comfortable adjusting to changing needs.
  • Calm under pressure — you can keep moving when the room gets busy.
  • A good communicator — you can listen, understand instructions, and communicate with guests and teammates.
  • Ready to learn — you're willing to learn menu items, service standards, table settings, and hotel procedures.

The position requires basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service standards, guest relations and etiquette, appropriate table settings and serviceware, and the ability to remember and promote menu items.

Why Join Our Banquet Team?

Because every event is different—and you get to be part of all of them.

One shift might be a beautiful wedding.

Another could be a corporate meeting.

Another could be a celebration with a room full of people enjoying an important moment together.

Your job is to help make sure the experience feels seamless, welcoming, and special.

And because this is an on-call opportunity, it can be a great way to pick up additional shifts while gaining valuable hospitality and event experience.

The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here

Can walk into a busy room and immediately see what needs to be done.

Enjoys working around people and meeting new guests.

Takes pride in a beautifully set table.

Can carry a tray or service items while navigating a busy event space.

Doesn't wait to be asked when you see a teammate who needs help.

Can keep a smile on your face during a long event.

Understands that the little details can make a big difference.

Likes the energy of weddings, celebrations, meetings, and special events.

The role requires the ability to transport up to 30 pounds through a crowded room continuously during the shift and to operate beverage equipment such as a coffee maker.

More Than Serving—You're Creating an Experience.

Guests may not remember every detail of the menu.

They may not remember who set the tables.

But they will remember how they felt.

A warm greeting.

A quick refill.

A clean table.

A server who noticed they needed something before they had to ask.

A team that worked together seamlessly.

That's hospitality.

Our banquet team plays an important role in making those moments happen. Every associate is expected to treat guests and coworkers with courtesy and respect while maintaining professional standards for appearance, punctuality, attendance, teamwork, and adaptability.

Ready to Be Part of Something Special?

If you're looking for flexible on-call work, enjoy interacting with people, and want to be part of a team that helps create memorable events, we'd love to meet you.

Bring your energy.

Bring your personality.

Bring your hospitality.
